All wool this rare unlined 1950's Cornell University Rowing Club. The jacket in okay condition with one small hole on the top right shoulder at the back not visable when on - Champion Running label circa 1950's. what makes this jacket quite unique it does not have a lining inside. Rich brick colour with tow tone waist and cuff band. Size marked as 44, will fit like a modern Large.

History:

In the early 1870s, several boat clubs came into being on the south shore of Cayuga Lake. In 1873, Cornell President Andrew Dickson White procured a new shell and a new coach, Henry Coulter, and Cornell rowing, a program that would become rich with success and tradition, was born.
